The rapper was shot dead on Monday.
The death of Florida rapper XXXTentacion has sparked a wide-range of reactions from the YouTube community this morning, with some mourning his untimely passing, while others focus on the victims of his alleged violence.
XXX Tentaction died on Monday night after being shot in a suspected robbery. While he was widely respected for his musical ability, he was also accused of violent behaviour, and was facing several felony charges before he died - including aggravated battery of a pregnant woman.
Paying tribute, Logan Paul said the world had been "stripped of a great," while younger brother Jake tweeted "Appreciate evry moment that you can in your life" with the hashtag "#RIPX." Caspar Lee tweeted, "Nobody deserves to die before their time."
XXX... heartbreaking. the world has been stripped of a true great. so young and so much potential. rest easy brother.— Logan Paul (@LoganPaul) June 18, 2018

Others focussed on the phenomenon of fans seemingly looking past his alleged violence. Gaby Dunn wrote, "What's interesting is while you stan a terrible dude who did some okay stuff, there are literally thousands of very good women doing even better stuff," while Franchesca Ramsey said fans should "stop making excuses for abusers"
What's interesting is while you stan a terrible dude who did some okay stuff, there are literally thousands of very good women doing even better stuff! I know! It's wild!— GABY 🏳️🌈 (@gabydunn) June 19, 2018
abuse is not a mistake. a mistake is a lapse in judgment. forgetting to silence your phone during a movie is a mistake. ordering curry from a thai restaurant without any reviews on yelp? mistake.— Franchesca Ramsey (@chescaleigh) June 19, 2018
abuse is a CONCIOUS DECISION. stop making excuses for abusers.
