Lets Get Literary
Who would have thought that Internet Stars - the people pioneering new forms of futuristic entertainment, would eventually be the ones finding huge success in one of the oldest mediums of all - book learnin'. 2015 was a bumper year for YouTuber tomes and it looks like 2016 is set to be just as record-breaking. Here are the books you need to have on your radar in two thousand and ten and six:
Oli White Is A Novellist Now
When the news broke that Oli White had finally penned his first book, I was ecstatic. We don't know much about this book, except that it will be about a young Oli-White-type character named Jack, who starts his very own social network. Early reports that the book would come bundled with a free cactus were furiously denied by Oli's manager who said, 'this is a not a real quote, you're just making this up.' You can preorder the book here.
Well, this is a little embarrassing. YouTube beauty guru Tanya Burr has somehow managed to get her own name wrong in the title of her book! We don't know how she managed to mistake 'Burr' for 'Bakes' but it's certain that someone at her publishers will be getting fired!
Judging from the cover and from the amazon description, the book will mainly be about
interrogation baking but will also include 'Tanya's delicious and simple puddings, loaves and pastries.' You can preorder it here.
Fun fact: about once a day in the office, someone will turn to the rest of the group and ask 'is Ricky Dillon problematic?' He hasn't actually done anything wrong, he just has the kind of name that makes him sound like one of those vine boys that keep getting in trouble. The point is that Ricky is actually a nice young man and he's written a book, good for him:
You can preorder it here.
Alfie Deyes Is A Book Machine
Alfie is back with yet another book! Honestly this guy can write books faster than Agatha Christie. In a startling change of pace, this book will be a scrapbook:
It will also apparently include blank sections that you have to fill in yourself ... seriously. This is from the official Amazon description:
"Oh and how could I forget to tell you that you can also join in and create your own scrapbook next to mine? Just fill in the blank sections by writing down your memories, or any fun facts that you don't want to forget. You can also stick your favourite photos or souvenirs to the pages, so that in many years to come you can look back on your own life!"
So if the phrase 'blank sections' attracts you to a book, you can go ahead and preorder it here.
If You Can't Wait For These Books - Grace Can Help You Out
Happily, although these other books are still weeks and months away, our fave Grace Helbig released a brand new style book just this last week. It looks set to be both fun and useful! Usefun!
