We the Unicorns

How did you miss these?!

While YouTube is full of incredible musicians such as Troye Sivan, Dodie and Jon Cozart, some of your all time favourite creators have also made their part in musical history without you even realising. We've done some serious sleuthing - it's what we're best at - and we've found an incredible 11 examples of instances when YouTubers were in music videos. From appearing as extras to full on stripping (yes, really), you'll be shocked that you ever missed them!

Mark Ferris in Ellie Goulding's 'Burn' video

Mark makes a shocking three appearances on this list- he sure does get about! The first one sees him all-out bopping with Ellie Goulding in the video for 'Burn'.

Lele Pons in Blink 182's music video

Let's get this straight, Lele Pons plays a HUGE part in the 'She's Out Of Her Mind' music video by Blink 182. The entire story basically centres on her running through the streets naked. For longtime fans of the band, you'll know that this is a brilliant reference to Blink's iconic "What's My Age Again" video.

Missed it? Watch it right here.

(Oh and wasn't actually nude during filming.)

Oli White, Connor Maynard, and Luke Franks in The Vamps' video

2015's 'Rest Your Love' features a whole load of famous faces including Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones and magican Dynamo. Oh and Oli white, Connor Maynard and the gorgeous Luke Franks, to name but a few.

Mark Ferris in Union J's video

Another Mark Ferris spot, this time in one of Union J's awesome videos. Now if only Mark and George Shelley would hurry up and collab!

Rebecca Black and Andrea Russet in The Vamps' video

The second Vamps video on the list and one of two Rebecca Black appearances. We love this song and the video!

SkyDoesMineCraft in a Lady Gaga video

Seriously, does it get any better than this?!

Rebecca Black in Katy Perry's video

From one global sensation to another, the Internet's favourite singer cropped up in Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night'. How's that for a reference?!

Mark Ferris in The Wanted's video

Our final installment is perhaps our favourite. Essentially, Mark Ferris hangs out on a lamp post all in the name of starring in his awesome video by The Wanted.
