The YouTuber announced her upcoming book, "Cordially Invited" in a vlog today.

Zoella has revealed that she is writing a brand new book.

The YouTuber, who has already had three novels published, announced that she is writing her first non-fiction title. The book, which will be called "Cordially Invited," will be a guide to hosting just like Zoella.

Zoella explained how a friend gave her the idea two years ago after noticing her tendency to go "a little OTT" to make guests feel at home when they stay the night or attend one a party.

"I was just like, 'why don't we do a book of all my little hostessing tips and things I do for events, and parties?'" she told her 4.8m subscribers on her "More Zoella" YouTube channel.

Zoella's book will be published by Hodder, the company that publishes her brother and fellow YouTuber Joe Sugg's Username Uprising trilogy.

What will Zoella's new book book be about?

"It's all the little extra touches that I sprinkle on everything and it's how I host and throw parties and little bits and pieces for you to take on board if you wish," she said. "It's like writing lots and lots and lots of different blog posts about each season and a particular event in that season."

In a press release, the "Cordially Invited" is described as a "beautifully photographed lifestyle book, divided into seasons and packed full of ideas, inspiration and DIYs. It will reveal [Zoella's] favourite events – big and small – throughout the year and how to celebrate them in style. Cordially Invited is Zoe’s blueprint for making an event and a memory out of each day."

What's the meaning behind "Cordially Invited"?

The book's title is all about Zoella opening up her life to her readers. "You know on an invite when it says 'cordially invited to'? I want people to feel they're invited into my home and into the way I do things," she said in her vlog announcement.

Getting to the name "Cordially Invited" wasn't easy, however: "The name is the most exciting but hardest thing because you want it to be perfect," Zoella said, before showing viewers footage from the moment the perfect title came to her.
